Facing Budget Cuts, Keep it Simple

While many urban schools are struggling to fund the bare essentials, teachers are forced to resort to buying their own classroom supplies.  This can be a particular challenge for science teachers seeking to provide meaningful lab work for urban students.  Alumna Adilene Aguilera, MEd Science Education '16, offers recommendations for teachers on creating simple, affordable lab experiments in schools facing budgetary pressures:
