For students starting down the long path of a doctoral program, the end is now literally in sight.  That is, if they can see ETMSW 3011.

On February 8, College faculty and staff officially opened a new room dedicated for doctoral students defending their dissertations, complete with technology for presentations and conferencing with committee members off campus.  That, and a pair of giant scissors.

Professors Terri Thorkildsen and Norma Lopez-Reyna cut a grand opening ribbon in the dissertation room doorway with a pair of giant scissors.

Two college staff members run a test of technology in the dissertation room before the grand opening.

Dean Alfred Tatum and doctoral programs advisor Elise Wilson cut the grand opening ribbon around the dissertation room.
