As Chicago Public Schools increasingly is recognized for its student academic growth leading all large districts in the nation, the role of principals as drivers of whole school change is increasingly coming into focus.  Patrick McGill, EdD Urban Education Leadership '16, and Steve Tozer, PhD, professor of educational policy studies and director of the Center for Urban Education Leadership, are featured in a video from Education Week on how principals build strong teacher teams and academic environments to directly impact student learning.  Watch the video:
