Office of Administrative Services

The Office of Administrative Services advises and recommends efficient use of College resources (fiscal, human, space) and establishes college administrative policy in concert with chairs and deans. We act as liaisons between the college and departments and campus/university administrative offices. We work with the campus to advance strategic college goals and advise departments about the most appropriate way to achieve their goals.

Council on Teacher Education

The Council on Teacher Education oversees and supports professional education programs in the Colleges of Education, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Architecture and the Arts, Nursing and Social Work. The CTE coordinates professional education curricula, policies, and procedures. It serves as a liaison between UIC and the Illinois State Board of Education and between UIC and P to 12 school personnel. In its role as liaison with the state, it is regarded as the unit for accreditation.

The Office of Student Services provides a broad range of services to facilitate the academic progress for students in the College of Education.
