Lascelles Anderson, Professor Emeritus [learn more] [contact] Professor Anderson's training was in economics and philosophy. In his economics teaching, he has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate economics courses including Microeconomics, Monetary Economics and Theory, Mathematical Economics, and Mathematical Programming. In faculties of education, he has taught International Development and Education, Economics of Education, and Education Policy. His research interests have been in international economic development and in education policy with a focus on issue of the relationship between efficiency and effectiveness in public education. Professor Anderson has also had a long-standing interest in equity issues in public policy and a specific interest in affrmative action. |
