The Council on Teacher Education (CTE) is a unit within the College of Education. CTE supports students and faculty in over twenty Illinois educator and school personnel preparation programs at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). CTE oversees the programs that prepare students for licensure in PreK-12 school settings by the Illinois State Board of Education.
