Jennifer DeLago is the Coordinator of Advising and Registration at the College of Education. Born and raised in Chicago, she has worked in the College of Education for 15 years as an academic advisor by being an advocate for students that positively impacts student learning.
Karen has worked in the College for more than ten years. She manages the day to day operations for the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
Sharon assists with managing the day to day operations for the Departments of Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Policy Studies.
Sakeena Everett is the Research and Outreach Director of the Early Literacy Impact Project that focuses on nurturing the next generation of literacy leaders and scholars while simultaneously advancing the literacy development of Black boys in grades 3, 4, and 5 in the Chicago Public Schools.
Carol R. Fendt is a senior researcher and co-director of the PRAIRIE Group. She received her PhD from UIC (2010) in Educational Policy Studies. Fendt has conducted large scale qualitative research since 2000 focusing on the implementation of reforms in large urban settings.
Cathy manages personnel, benefits administration, training and professional development for College faculty and staff.
Loretta Foote Casey, M.P.P., is Associate Dean for Administration in the College of Education and oversees fiscal affairs, personnel and space/facilities management; she has served the college for more than nine years. Ms.
Gail Fox, PhD, serves as the associate director of the Center for Literacy within the UIC College of Education, managing FAmily STart (FAST) Learning and Support.
