Endorsement / Approval Program
Are you interested in teaching one subject area (e.g., Math, Language Arts, Science, etc.) for the majority of the school day to students in grades five through eight? If so, the College of Education offers the courses you will need to satisfy the Illinois requirements for a Middle School Endorsement.
As of July 1, 1997, the Illinois State Board of Education requires that those students interested in teaching in middle grades (5-8) must take additional course work.
