Our Mission
We are a community of scholars committed to educational equity as it contributes to the development of social, political and economic parity.
We develop new knowledge about education that improves teaching, learning, and assessment; informs policy and practice; and is valued by the communities we serve.
We direct our teaching, research, and public service to all learners, but particularly to those who are least well-served by the nation's educational institutions, particularly those in urban environments.
