Much of what teachers and students do in the classroom can be described as potential assessment activities that can provide evidence about their students’ understanding. In this talk, Dr. Maria Araceli Ruiz-Primo from the Stanford University Graduate School of Education will present an approach to study formative assessment in classrooms that addresses both its informal and formal aspects.
