About
Margaret (Peggy) Bergin joins the University of Illinois Chicago as Assistant to the Dean in the College of Education. She brings more than two decades of experience in education administration, student affairs, and curriculum leadership.
Prior to joining the College of Education, Peggy held senior leadership roles at Morgan Park Academy, including Director of Student Life and Director of the Arts, where she supported academic leadership, supervised faculty, developed curriculum, and coordinated cross-divisional initiatives. She previously served as Assistant Director of the School of Art and Design at UIC, overseeing admissions, faculty processes, student services, and administrative operations. Peggy also brings experience from the financial services sector, having worked at Morgan Stanley.
Peggy holds a Master of Education from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University.
