About
Karen A. Dop has worked in the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) College of Education since 2004. She provides high-level administrative, management, business, and fiscal support for the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, and interacts with a wide variety of internal and external constituents. She manages day-to-day operations of the department, including: purchasing and accounting; planning routine and special projects; contract management; developing and implementing operational policies and procedures; supporting faculty and program work; and facilitating effective and efficient operation of human resources associated tasks, requirements, and activities for faculty, students, and staff. Karen has also served on various college and university committees, and received the Award of Merit in 2020 for her service, commitment, and dedication to UIC.
