- The College of Education, Dean’s Office and Office for Student Success are looking to hire a graduate student hourly employee for administrative work for the 2025-26 academic year. The work will be in-person in the ETMSW building and will be approximately 15-20 hours a week. The current graduate hourly minimum pay for the 2024-2025 academic year is $31.03 per hour. New pay rates will take effect in mid-August 2025, though the exact rates are yet to be determined. This position does not include a tuition waiver. Students must be registered in graduate level course(s) during the duration of their employment. - UIC Heritage Garden – Garden Interns / Photo & Media Intern for the 2025 Summer Cohort
The UIC Heritage Garden is seeking undergraduate UIC students to participate in the Summer 2025 program and potentially in subsequent semesters. The HG is a student-led, hands-on, paid internship program with the goal to engage student interns in a range of learning activities to explore environmental, climate and social justice. The UIC Disability Cultural Center’s Community Care Cohort Internship explores mutual aid/care work, disability history, and builds knowledge and skills around disability justice movements. Students take a deep dive into learning about community care and mutual aid, build skills (facilitation, relationship building, consensus decision making, etc.), and to practice leading their own care projects with the support of the DCC staff. The role of the Summer Program Coordinator: 280 Building (SPC) is to work with a team of colleagues from Continuing Studies, including student employees, to support SAIC’s summer youth programs with a particular focus on the programs in the 280 Building. This will include Multi-Arts Camps (MAC) and the Early College Program (ECP). MAC is SAIC’s summer program for youth ages 6-9. It is a multidisciplinary program rooted in museum education. ECP is SAIC’s program for high school students, offering visual arts courses either for credit or not for credit. MAC and ECP courses are scheduled in two-week sessions in July and August.
