About the Office of Research Heading link
The Office of Research at the College of Education identifies opportunities, facilitates proposal development, promotes interdisciplinary projects, and works with campus-wide initiatives related to faculty and student research. The office develops and monitors implementation of research policies in the College, and serves as the College’s liaison with the Vice Chancellor for Research.
The primary goals of the office include:
- Promote and facilitate collaborative research activity and productivity across the College, University and greater Chicago community
- Provide resources and support for sponsored research and grant activity
- Facilitate faculty development, particularly new faculty development, with respect to research
- Facilitate publicity for research accomplishments in coordination with College communications and marketing
