Brothers Teaching
Mission:
The mission of Brothers Teaching is to increase the number of certified male teachers of color who work in Illinois schools by providing professional development, mentoring, technical assistance, and networking opportunities that support the recruitment, preparation, and retention of Black and Brown male teachers across the K-12-to-career pipeline.
UIC Brothers Teaching Scholars who graduate are sought after for their passion for education and their ability to make a difference in the lives of children and their communities.
