About
Sarah Ogeto works with the Center for Literacy (CFL) in the College of Education. Her primary role is the Professional Learning Coordinator for the Family Engagement and Professional Learning Network. She is also oversees the Professional Development and Family Engagement department and supports the AmeriCorp grant at CFL. She has served at the college for 4 years. Ogeto received her undergraduate degree in management at Columbia College and is finishing up a Master in Education at the University of Illinois in Springfield. She serves on a Chicago Public School local school council and is a member of the National Association of Family, School and Community Engagement. Prior to joining UIC, she worked at the Illinois Stated Board of Education professional development, monitoring, quality assurance, and grants administration.
