About
Dr. Sierra Ryan is the interim director and licensure officer. She acts as a liaison between UIC educator preparation programs and the Illinois State Board of Education. She also entitles candidates to the Professional Educator License (PEL) upon confirmation of program completion. Sierra earned both her master's degree and doctoral degree at UIC. She has over 10 years of experience serving the UIC CTE in various roles.
