Urban Education – Elementary Education: How to Apply

This deadline is for high school seniors seeking to enroll at UIC and the College of Education:

These deadlines are for college students who are NOT currently enrolled at UIC and want to transfer into one of our BA programs.
Semester you want to enroll	Application Deadline
Fall	May 1
Spring	October 16

For current UIC students who want to transfer into the College of Education, or who want to change majors within the College of Education. Please work with your current UIC advisor to complete the application. Minimum GPA of 2.5 required for Urban Education.

Before submitting your ICT transfer application:
• Consult with your current Academic Advisor to ensure that transferring is in your best interest
* Run a hypothetical what-if uAchieve degree audit for the HDL major to plan for pre-requisites or potential barriers. (Use your my.uic.edu student portal to find this.
• Attend a College of Education ICT InfoSession to learn more about the requirements
