Make an Impact Scholarship

The Make an Impact Scholarship helps support undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. All new and current full-time students who enroll in any term within a calendar year can apply. Students must also have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated financial need.

Please write a 500 word (maximum) essay about your commitment to children and youth in urban schools and communities, discuss what inspired this commitment, and describe your financial need for funding. Write your essay in a word processing software, and then copy and paste the text into this form.

Please describe, in 250 words or less, how receiving this scholarship will lessen your financial need. Provide supporting documentation (outstanding UIC balance, unmet need documented on Financial Aid award letter, documentation of unforeseen financial burden, etc) by uploading to this application.
