Scholarship Opportunity: $5 for 4 and Promise Fund

The $5 for 4 Scholarship and the Promise Fund Scholarship help to support students who display a financial need that will impede their continued enrollment in the College of Education.  To be eligible, students must be enrolled full-time in College of Education programs in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need.  Scholarships awarded will range in amount up to $2,500 and are not renewable.

  • Write a brief essay describing how receipt of the scholarship will assist in reaching your academic and professional goals. Copy and paste your essay here. We recommend you write your essay in a word processing software and not in this form as you may lose your text if your Internet connection resets.
  • Please indicate your amount of financial need or the total amount requested. Provide supporting documentation when possible (i.e. student account statement).
  • Please list any support you have received this academic year. This may include College of Education support, Academic departmental support, U and I Cares hardship funds, Graduate College hardship funds, etc.).
  • Have you exhausted available funding sources, including student loans (if eligible)? This may be verified with the Office of Financial Aid.
